New York Life Appoints Anthony Mak as President and Chief Executive Officer for Its Hong Kong Operation

New York Life International, LLC, the international arm of New York Life Insurance Company, announced today that Anthony Mak has been named president and chief executive officer for its wholly-owned Hong Kong subsidiary, New York Life Insurance Worldwide Ltd.

Insurance gross premiums up 4.8% in Hong Kong

Last year saw a 4.8% rise in the general insurance business' gross premiums, to $24.06 billion, while net premiums also grew 5% to $17 billion, the Office of the Commissioner of Insurance says.
